Northstowe Phase 3A for 4000 houses aproved
Despite substantial evidence of unsustainability presented by Friends of the Cam at the planning committee meeting on the 28th January, South Cambs District Council councillors voted to approve this development of 4000 houses anyway.
Daniel Fulton, Ian Ralls and Monica Bijok Hone all presented compelling evidence of the impact this development would have on Cam Valley aquifers and rivers, which are already failing environmental targets.
Friends of the Cam will now consider what next steps are available to them to continue the fight to save our Cam Valley chalk streams.
